A shared form of direct ownership
Up to ten owners hold exclusive rights to use the property (one owner may acquire more than one part). Owners are allotted their respective periods of time throughout the year. Specifically; each of four periods of nine days each, 36 days in total, including arrival and departure days, are spread over the year.

Why is shared ownership different from the timeshare model?
With timeshare, you never own the property itself, but buy access to time, typically a set week in a hotel complex. At Spansk SOL, you own a share of a fully furnished holiday apartment, where we take care of all operation, maintenance and cleaning on behalf of you - the owner. You have access to the apartment during your personal periods throughout the year. You may also book additional days among periods that are deposited for holiday rental by your co-owners. A rental service, managed by Admin, is set up for this purpose. Storage space for personal belongings is available at the basement level, as an option.
Reasonably, fairly priced
The property will be acquired by a Norwegian limited liability company (“aksjeselskap”), Spansk Sol AS, where the shares are split evenly among the shareholders. In other words, you and the other shareholders own respective parts of the apartment directly, with no external control of ownership!

We believe this is a very attractive offer. First, the apartment is of high quality, located at the hot spot of Spain. Second, you are given the opportunity to become one of its owners by paying a small part of apartment’s total valuation, and for a reasonable price. Third, your reserved days are spread over all seasons of the year. Fourth, non-used periods may be deposited for holiday rental through the already running and well-functioning service that is managed by Admin and the included team of professionals. Fifth, if you for some reason would like to terminate your ownership in the future, you are free to sell your shares to anyone, anywhere, and to the asking price you decide to publish to the market.

The current price tag is close to market price, and this makes the offer stand out favourably relative to the traditional timeshare market: easier to resell your share.
